>>>Make Pages Look Better! (and applicable with mobile devices)<<<

• To Summary Pages:

-Add Memorable Quotes section

-Create short summaries (ep. 4, 10+)

-Include a Statistics section (dice roll averages, kills)

-Edit Status Report section to reflect episodes (add 'Rough Estimate' to debt of Swan Song needed to be paid)

• To Character Pages:

-Fill out character pages (kills, quotes etc.)

-Paraphrase skills section instead of using rulebook descriptions

• Incorporate things said in Faction Turn with the wikia
• Get rid of links to reddit (like newsnet, excluding picture references) and replace with an original page on the wikia [maybe?]
• Make 'Episodes' and 'The Crew' into buttons with hover-over effect? as opposed to links (main page)
• Don't need walls of text on main page. Not sure how to circumvent. Probably change 'The Swan Song Universe' to 'New To The Wiki?' and change some wording around.

-> Also for example, instead of saying, 'Adam takes control of the major players in Asgard Sigma in a (turn based) mini-game that takes place apart from the regular play sessions (they can be viewed here)'; have the 'here' link be a button/img that people can click on that says where you are being re-directed to (like the wordmarks that are added), and then have the explanation be a caption underneath the button. This should get rid of walls to text and make things look a lot better.

-> (Relevant to: 'Systems And Planets', 'Major Factions', 'The Exchange News' [can be a redirect to its own page in the wikia as opposed to being shown on the main page], Technology, Fan-Made Creations)

• Transcriptions / Videos with subtitles doesn't need to be on main page if it is already included in the episode table
• Change the main navigation bar on the top of the wiki to be something that people can use if they want to
• Possibly link to the built-in wiki IRC / live chat thing on the main page?
• Incorporate polls? Forums?
• Add embedded soundcloud players for all of the 'exchange news' GNN stuff? -- Note from link123451, I had started doing this, but it took up a LOT of space, so I stopped (it's the reason I switched it to tables in the first place haha)
• 'Other Links' on the main page looks better than before, still don't like the lists of links. Not sure how to change, possibly drop down boxes? Or expand/hide wiki tables? I think it would be nice to have most every link available on the main page which is why I included them in the first place. -- Note from link123451, I thought so to, which is why I had asked you what you thought, but I couldn't really think of a better way to do it without it being just information overload, plus the way I have it now makes adding content in the future easier because you just need to remember to add it to the category, but it doesn't look ideal...
• 'Miscellaneous' is there for me because I would often want to go to those pages. They can technically be taken down. I would probably incorporate the 'to do list' somewhere on the main page though and have it be a thing that people can interact with.
• Under 'Swan Song Music', the page takes a little while to load. Not sure if there is an option to 'load when uncollapsed' and if putting them in a collapsible table would help this problem. Also, the page has been newly renovated, however; the background pictures on the embeds kind of make the page not nice to look at. I would probably add some kind of marginal spacing between the embeds. -- Note from link123451, I'm not sure about the load times (I believe html still loads collapsed elements, but at least it would be hidden?), but set visual = no on the template and it will show like it does on Template:Exchange News instead

• Redirect doesn't seem to work with forum threads so I deleted it and changed links to point here directly

• Todo: Update Template:Factions for merged/disbanded factions, perhaps add Template:Destroyed Factions for ones that no longer exist?

Update Newsnet completly to Template:Newsnet post

Edit: Made Swan Song Music use collapsed boxes, embeded YouTube instead of just links, made Newsnet into actual articles (with soundcloud embeds), with just links to reddit/soundcloud

• Incorporate polls? Forums? (Note really sure how)
• Make "Other Links", and maybe other stuff on the main page into a table, or drop down boxes or something
• Change "Miscellaneous" into something like "For Editors"
• Reformat all week pages to look like Week 21 - Hello I am Howard

Player Character Pages

• Add info about Mr. Sicarian's mutation as we learn it (So far: It is not physicic)
• Possibly add info about Piani's glass eye, and for sure add info about her connection to the...weird monk people, as we learn it

I've been kinda thinking about renaming all the weeks to JUST be their respective weeks (such as instead of Week 1 - Pilot, just have it be Week 1), as it'd make linking to the article easier, but at the same time I just renamed them all, so idk

        Loading editor
• With respect to Week 1 - Pilot --> Week 1, I personally don't prefer either or, 'Week 1' would look just as fine since it is easier to link to without having to include a vertical bar.

Also I was messing around with 'tabber' as seen here and this is an option we could use for the #lists header on the main page.

• One word: redirects. 90% of the time redirects are used for making the linking easier. Like Pfotenhauer.

        Loading editor
• That would work for sure, just wasn't sure if we should do JUST the weeks, since most of the names are kinda arbitrary anyway; but the redirects would just be easier; or maybe rename them to just weeks and leave redirects in the other way? idk, I don't have time for the next week or so to do it, but I'll look into it around then if no one else has

        Loading editor
• On a regular tv show wiki, episodes would go under the name alone. Ofc we don't have the luxury of having official names, but I don't see why unofficial names wouldn't work ;)

        Loading editor
• Hmm. I didn't notice that some of the recent episode names come from Adam. I'd say let's just go with it and use the unofficial ones too and move to name only titles. Apart from redirects from Week # we can make linking easy and pretty at the same time - I made a template week for that. Just use 21 and you get: "Hello I am Howard". Documentation soon - I gotta run ;)

Only drawback is that the template needs the episode names inside - but it's just one line each and it links to Week # if no title is present

        Loading editor
• Hmm, ya that would work great.  My only argument against the week only names was remembering them (to link to them) would be annoying, but I would assume something like 21}} might work

Actually, I'll test that here "Hello I am Howard"

edit: Oh, I see how it returns it now, so you actually only need 21

"Hello I am Howard"

edit: I'm going to edit out the "'s around the title, because it'll make it useable in more situations (such as just a link and so on), maybe we should have it not even return the link, because then it could be used in a format more like 1}}|Week 1, so you could still link to it without calling it by the name

        Loading editor
• I made it so the second parameter allows to specify the link text (and remove "'s).

        Loading editor
• I did the documentation for week. I can move the pages and add/fix the redirects tomorrow with a bot. And make the episode infobox pull titles from it too.

        Loading editor
• Cool, that would for sure make adding new episodes easier :D

        Loading editor
• Note to myself (and others): I finished reformating the episode pages through episode 10.

(Need to fix 10+ "number" field, as it switched from meaning week in current season to week overall, and broke as a result; just noticed or I might have done the edits to Template:Infobox Episode differently.  It could still theoritically be fixed, but seeing as the "seasons" are just abstract things we made up to categorize the episodes easier, I honestly thing having a raw count of weeks is more usefull (at the very least until JP does a true season 2; right now all the Swan Song episodes go into the "Swan Song: Season 1" playlist)

        Loading editor
• I had originally not included the episodes in seasons. An unknown IP was the one who first introduced them, probably following some things that were mentioned around week 10 in the show. As a result, I would be fine if the seasons were not included until something more official was announced.

        Loading editor
• Okay, that's the how I'll keep editing them.  With the seasons as kinda an unofficial guide, and the week count showing from the beginning instead of from the season start.

        Loading editor
• I'm not 100% sure, but I seem to recall Adam saying something about 10 episode seasons. He definitely said that week 11 was first episode of season 2.
